Dr Paul Seager

Dr Paul Seager is senior lecturer in Social and Forensic psychology at the University of Central Lancashire.  His main area of interest is the psychology of deception – why people lie, how they lie, and whether we are good at detecting lies. He is the co-author of Would I Lie to You? Deception Detection in Relationships, at Work and in Life .

In 2014 Hodder published Paul’s introduction to Social Psychology in its Teach Yourself series.
